Inara is a rich solar system when it comes to gas and as such most of the energy reactors currently in use are based on it as primary fuel. A fleet of these gatherers have been placed in gas clouds to meet the increasing demand for gas. "Costi", the infamous pirate leader once said that if something was to happen with these gatherers, the colony would shut down. Following that statement, security forces now patrol around them just in case.
